Although our industry keeps us busy year round, this time of the year is an especially busy time.   After spending the better part of the past few months buried in snow, the spring thaw brings a renewed opportunity for facility managers and operators to assess their outdoor equipment and get ready for spring and summer sport seasons.

It is also the time of year we hit the road and take part in numerous industry tradeshows, expanding our knowledge, creating new connections and showcasing our talented team and stellar product offering.

In the immediate months, we will be attending two major tradeshows in Ontario:the 2015 Parks and Recreation Ontario Educational Forum and Trade Show and the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association’s Annual General Meeting.

2015 PRO Educational Forum & Trade Show

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Parks and Recreation Ontario and with that they have themed this year’s event as a celebration of leadership, quality and excellence. This event aims to have a little bit of something for everyone, with a packed schedule including networking events, educational seminars and a trade show.

This year’s event takes place at Blue Mountain Resort in scenic Collingwood, Ontario. For more information check out

2015 OCAA AGM & Marketplace Trade Show

Hosted in Sudbury last year, this year’s OCAA annual general meeting is set to take place at the spacious Oakville Conference Centre in Oakville, Ontario at the end of April. Staff members from about 30 college athletic departments descend on this show to learn about the latest in accommodations, apparel, equipment, facility upgrades, promotional material and electronics.
