In doing a great job of highlighting our expertise in designing and installing fire-rated padded safe rooms, we worked closely with a local hospital to help design and build an essential space that would allow patients to de-escalate in a secure, calming environment.

Our journey began with a site visit to the hospital in the northern Ontario town of Espanola. The charming small town in Northern Ontario's Sudbury District is nestled along the picturesque Spanish River about 70 km west of Sudbury. With a population of around 5,200, it serves as a vital service hub for surrounding areas, including Manitoulin Island and the LaCloche Foothills.
Upon their arrival, our experienced installation team conducted a full take-off of the room, capturing precise measurements to ensure everything would fit perfectly. With accurate data in hand, we quickly prepared and delivered a detailed quotation, which was promptly approved by the client, green lighting the process.
Next up, our in-house design team produced detailed shop drawings for review and approval. Once finalized, the custom padding moved into production and was finally met by our skilled installation crew who returned to the site to bring the project to life.
The room required floor-to-ceiling padding on all four walls and a custom removable window pad for added flexibility and safety. The entire installation proceeded smoothly, with no issues, and the space is now fully operational and ready to serve whenever needed.
