Working just down the road from our beautiful headquarters, we got the opportunity to take part in the development of a brand new educational facility. While we are not involved with the heavy-duty construction elements of a job like this, we were invited to participate in outfitting the gymnasium space with some brand new and state-of-the-art equipment.

After selecting a fairly comprehensive sports equipment package, our team was on-site and planning for this new gymnasium as part of the expansion of the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) here in the Ottawa area.

For this newly-built elementary school gymnasium, we were tapped to supply and install a full complement of premium basketball equipment. This included two main court electrically operated front-folding ceiling-mounted backstops with glass backboards, along with four wall-mounted cross-court backstops featuring fan-shaped backboards and manual height adjusters. We also installed a centre-drive electrically operated gym divider curtain, which allows the gymnasium to be quickly and efficiently divided for simultaneous classes or activities.

The entire installation was completed efficiently in just over two days, minimizing disruption to the final stages of the school’s construction schedule.
