The gym at St. Catharines Collegiate was to undergo a series of upgrades over the summer which included updating their wooden gym bleachers as well as the installation of a brand new wood athletic floor. The job was broken down into a couple of phases as Sport Systems worked in conjunction with the school and the District School Board of Niagara and external contractors to ensure the job went smoothly. The school board quickly got to work removing the old wooden bleachers in a safe and timely manner to make way for the new floor installation. While this was taking place the design team at Sport Systems quickly got to work plotting the exact specifications of the new [retractable bleacher system](https://www.sportsystemscanada.com/collections/telescopic-bleachers) to be installed. Once the new gym flooring had been installed, the team moved in to install the brand new KODIAK 2400 series telescopic bleacher system in the gymnasium and be ready to seat the fans for the upcoming indoor sporting events. The bleachers consisted of two banks of seats measuring 42’ in length with 11 rows of designated seating. The total capacity of the bleacher system came in at 556 seats featuring a fully electric operation and pendant controller. ![st._catharines-retractable-bleachers-before](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/hs-fs/hub/319534/file-1792902156.jpg?width=278&name=file-1792902156.jpg)  ![st._catharines-retractable-bleachers-after](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/hs-fs/hub/319534/file-1793370620.jpg?width=278&height=156&name=file-1793370620.jpg "st._catharines-retractable-bleachers-after")                          **Before                                                                                 After** Topics: [Bleachers](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/topic/bleachers) [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/linkedin-24x24.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=A%20Telescopic%20Bleacher%20Upgrade%20for%20St.%20Catharines%20Collegiate) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fa-telescopic-bleacher-upgrade-for-st.-catharines-collegiate%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Search for Specific Products or Projects This is a search field with an auto-suggest feature attached. - There are no suggestions because the search field is empty.
