Managing long-term relationships with our customer base over the last 40-plus years has been one of the many factors that has contributed to our longevity as an organization. While we revel in developing new relationships and customers, it is our repeat business that has been a constant factor in our company’s success.
Although many of our long-term clients are found all around the world, it is the school boards right here at home that continually keep us busy. One of those boards is the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board who we have helped a number of times over the years, particularly in the space of developing safe spaces for their students.
With an improved focus on mental health and wellbeing, more and more school boards are increasing spending on creating safe spaces for students, allowing them to develop at their own pace in a safe environment. Working with this board in the past, we designed and installed a number of these highly specialized padded rooms for a number of its other schools.
This time, we were called to Our Lady of Fatima School to assess their needs for a padded space inside the school. Working with our partners at King Carpentry, their team was quick to get on-site and take detailed site take-offs and measurements. Once secured, our team got to work designing the perfect padding solution for the available space.
Using our fire-rated safety padding, our engineering team designed the space and put the padding into fabrication - not an easy task with rooms of many sizes and shapes.
Upon completion, we relied once again on the team at King Carpentry to finish the installation of the padding at the school. Today, a new padded space enriches the learning experience at yet another school, keeping students safe and secure as they continue their education.
