Delays are a normal part of life. While these occurrences remain frustrating, the consequences are usually insignificant. However, for event planners, coordinators and venues, slowdowns are often accompanied by additional challenges. Relying on a timely delivery and installation of new outdoor bleachers, Coe Hill Fairgrounds reached out to Sport Systems for help.
With Globals News recently reporting that 90 percent of, “companies in the [manufacturing] sector are grappling with supply chain issues,” it’s no surprise that Coe Hill Fairgrounds found themselves in a difficult position. With their annual agricultural fair scheduled for the end of August, it was crucial that the venue’s weathered wooden bleachers were replaced as soon as possible.
With a reputation for quick turnaround times and ingenuity, Sport Systems manufactured and installed 10-tier, 40 foot-long bleachers with HDPE sleepers. Not only was the outcome more attractive than the aged models previously in their place, but an impressive 266 spectators will be able to experience the fair’s shows and events in comfort.
While Sport Systems does not take for granted the privilege it is to have access to scarce materials, the planning and strategizing of the team deserves recognition. Without the diligence of the hardworking employees at Sport Systems, venues like Coe Hill Fairgrounds would be unable to carry on with their events as planned.
