Last fall, we shared the story of our impressive 15-row grandstand installation at the 2025 Canada Games in Newfoundland and Labrador. The project most certainly served as a true testament to our expertise in crafting high-quality spectator seating solutions, only to be followed up by our most recent coverage of another standout element of that project which just so happened to be a unique, custom-designed 6-row bleacher that perfectly complemented the venue's needs. As we’ve said many times before, we're passionate about pushing the boundaries of bleacher manufacturing to create accessible, functional, and spectator-friendly designs. Let's explore how this custom piece came to life and became a fan favorite during last year’s Games.
The Canada Games organizers had a specific vision for enhancing spectator experiences at their newly constructed sports facility. Beyond the main 15-row grandstand, they required a bleacher system that could seamlessly integrate into an alcove beneath the building's facade. This setup would provide covered seating, shielding fans from the elements while they enjoyed events like track and field and soccer. The space was tight and unconventional, demanding a solution that was both innovative and precise.
As usual, our design and fabrication team rose to the occasion, collaborating closely to engineer a bleacher that not only met but exceeded expectations. The primary goals were clear and mandated that the structure could accommodate at least 1,000 spectators and that it would provide full accessibility through a barrier-free design compliant with all standards. The result was a remarkable 6-row bleacher stretching an impressive 260.5 feet in length, offering seating for 1,056 standard spots plus an additional 9 dedicated barrier-free seats.
What made this bleacher truly unique were the custom adaptations tailored to the site's architecture. To fit snugly within the alcove, we incorporated precise cut-outs along the rear of the structure, allowing it to align perfectly with the building's columns without compromising stability or safety. This level of customization highlights our commitment to problem-solving, turning potential constraints into opportunities for excellence.

Partnering with our trusted dealer and installer, Coastline Specialties, we ensured the entire process from design to delivery was smooth and efficient. The bleacher was fabricated in our Canadian facilities, shipped to the site, and installed on time and within budget.
By all accounts, this custom 6-row bleacher quickly became a go-to spot for attendees. Tucked under the building for protection from weather, it offered a comfortable, inclusive vantage point to soak in the excitement of the Canada Games. Spectators appreciated the accessibility features, making it a welcoming space for everyone, from families to athletes' supporters.
