In one of our largest telescopic bleacher jobs to feature our ground-breaking GameDay GraFX bleacher logos, this project had our whole team excited. Located at All Saints High School in Kanata, Ontario, we were brought in to provide an updated solution to some outdated athletic infrastructure.
An old set of wooden retractable bleachers in the gymnasium that had been manually operated, had fallen below the safety standards dictated by local and national building code requirements. We were therefore invited to visit the site to assess the situation. After taking detailed measurements, we got to work designing a new seating solution for one of the area’s largest high schools. With existing ‘pocket walls’, or walls that are designed to accommodate bleachers, the new bleachers would also have to fit within the existing dimensions.
Our design team got to work on the new designs and ultimately proposed two banks of eight-row telescopic bleachers that would fit perfectly within the confines of the existing pocket walls. Given the new and expansive visual potential of the new seating, an opportunity for next-level showcasing was obvious. Following the design phase, our GameDay GraFX solution was floated to key stakeholders from the school. Showcasing a new and innovative way to boost school spirit and branding, it was an easy decision for school officials to greenlight new digital logos for the newly installed bleachers.
Following the manufacturing process, our team digitally adhered the school’s logo strategically across all of the HDPE bleacher seats for a proud display of the school’s colours. In addition to the school pride displayed across the new seating structures, the All Saints Avalanche now have a motorized seating solution for upcoming games and more than enough reason to cheer on the home team.
