High Humidity Telescopic Pool Bleachers for the City of Saint John

High humidity environments like indoor pool facilities require a specialized seating system for spectators. Our line of telescopic bleachers specifically designed for indoor pools are built to withstand these warm and moist environments. These high humidity telescopic pool bleachers give facilities another dimension to their seating options, easily pulling out for access to seating when needed or retracting to optimize pool deck space when not in use.

The City of Saint John in New Brunswick was looking for an ample amount of seating for the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. The facility aims to be a community-focused aquatic and fitness centre serving Grand Bay-Westfield, Quispamsis, Rothesay and Saint John. In addition to offering a wide range of aquatic programs and services, the Canada Aquatic Games Centre also provides a fantastic venue for aquatic sporting events. They turned to Sports Systems Canada asking us to design and install a solution for their indoor aquatic and fitness centre.

To support their goals and vision, we were commissioned to provide a telescopic bleacher seating system for use during competitions and special events that were to be held at the facility. Based on the seating requirements needed for the aquatic centre, we quickly designed a large bank of 2400 series Kodiak telescopic pool bleachers.

The seating system measures 90’ in length and is paired with five rows of seating, bringing the spectator capacity up to 256 people. In addition to the galvanized steel under structure to endure moist environments, the bleachers are also equipped with 10” HDPE contoured seating modules for added comfort for spectators.
