Today the school has approximately 17,000 undergraduate students and is home to the formidable Golden Hawks athletic program, competing in the west conference of the Ontario University Athletics. With a consistently growing program, upgrades were urgently needed to the school’s Alumni Field. With plans to add a new synthetic grass surface, media platform, scoreboard, and bleachers, the project was put out for bidding and secured by our partners at Richfield Construction. ![wilfrid-laurier-bleachers-l-side](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/hs-fs/hubfs/wilfrid-laurier-bleachers-l-side.jpg?width=600&height=305&name=wilfrid-laurier-bleachers-l-side.jpg) In need of additional seating structures for the sidelines of the newly upgraded field, they turned to our team to provide the best solution. Looking for a high-quality bleacher seating structure that was completely code compliant, we were happy to provide them with a pair of our [5-row aluminum outdoor bleachers](https://www.sportsystemscanada.com/collections/bleachers) for the new practice field. A great addition to any field, these bleachers supply much-needed seating to athletes, spectators and coaching staff. Overall, the project was a massive success, with Richfield having done a wonderful job of completing the upgrades to Alumni Field on-time and on-budget. Go hawks!
