While the winter of 2020 was slowly melting away in eastern Ontario, our team was contacted by
our friends at the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board (PVNC) as they were in search of the perfect seating solution.

With a set of outdated bleachers located in the gymnasium of St. Peter Catholic Secondary School, an updated solution was required. Having previously worked with this board and with many others in Ontario, naturally they turned to our team again for assistance.

As stakeholders from both sides began talks, it became apparent that finding a partner that could not only design a new solution, but that would also remove the existing one was an ideal scenario. Working through the details, we expressed our ability to remove and dispose of any existing seating before bringing in the new system.

Given that the flooring and walls were in need of some slight repairs, this gave the board the
opportunity to have their staff make these repairs once the old seating was removed. Working closely with their facilities team, this task was easily completed.

Following the repairs, our team had the new bleachers shipped directly to the school in Peterborough which were met by our experienced installation team.

There they worked diligently and safely to unload and begin the installation process. After only a couple of days of install time, the new bleachers were ready to be tested and were released to the school for use. With athletics back in play in Ontario schools, the timing couldn’t have been better for student athletes at St. Peters.

The new school year not only welcomed back students after the pandemic lockdowns, but also gave new life to their gymnasium as programming resumed.
