Grandstand stadium bleachers are the large-scale option that include a clear-span steel beam understructure with aluminum or specialty seating on top.
The clear span is the feature, allowing for storage, washrooms, concessions, team rooms, or a walkway underneath the structure. That is why this system shows up at premium high school stadiums, post-secondary fields, racetracks, and large municipal facilities and fields.
Highest structural class in this list. Beam grandstands are designed as long-life outdoor infrastructure that can seat the masses.
Full accessible routes, companion seating distributed throughout, and code-compliant egress are part of every proper grandstand package.
This is a completely designed structure, not a catalogue unit. Expect stamped engineering, foundations, and a permit process.
Needs civil work that includes piers or a substantial foundation, drainage, and enough land for stairs, ramps, and egress. Budget and timeline are measured in projects, not purchase orders.
Stadium-level outdoor field seating where capacity, brand image, and under-structure program space justify the investment.
“We will leave the end of the front row open” is not an accessible seating plan.
