As part of the upcoming Canada Games in St. John's, which are set to take place from August 8 to 25, 2025, in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, we've been tapped with helping supply a few grandstand seating structures.  As part of the 16th edition of the Canada Summer Games and the 31st overall Canada Games, this is the third time Newfoundland and Labrador has hosted the event (previously in 1977 and 1999) and the second time for St. John's specifically (previously in 1977). The Games are Canada’s largest multi-sport event, bringing together over 4,800 athletes, coaches, and managers from all 13 provinces and territories to compete in 19 sports across 17 disciplines.

The event will be held at various venues in St. John’s and surrounding communities, such as Mount Pearl, Paradise, Conception Bay South, and Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove.

While construction continues across multiple sites in anticipation of the upcoming games this summer, we are very excited to leak a few photos straight from the site in Newfoundland

Working alongside our long-time dealer located in Newfoundland, Coastline Specialties and their team are doing a great job of getting everything in place as the spring season progresses.

This particular custom bleacher was designed to fit under a building that was under construction on the site. As part of the project, we had to factor in the concrete columns that could interfere with our bleachers along with the overhead clearance.

The end result will soon be a completely custom barrier-free bleacher, complete with 6 rows and measuring 260’ long. When this project is all said and done, gross seat count will be set for 1056 spectators and the bleacher will feature nine barrier-free and completely accessible seats.

Stay tuned for more updates from this exciting project.
