Contagious team spirit, bleachers full of school colors, marching bands - it’s hard not to be a college sports fan!  Whether you root for your own school, a hometown favorite, or your beloved alma mater, collegiate athletics give us all something to cheer about.

We all know the big favorite in the college sports world this time of year: men’s basketball!  Each fast-paced game is a guaranteed crowd pleaser, keeping sports fans always on the edge of their seats, if not on their feet.

For Division I basketball teams, regular season games are all played in high anticipation of the NCAA Division I Championship Tournament.  Eager college basketball fans are taking careful notes and tracking stats and rankings on all potential March Madness contenders, and anyone who’s watching has definitely taken notice of the Syracuse Orange this year.

First time ACC contenders, the Syracuse University men’s basketball team is turning heads with their undefeated record so far this season.  Currently, the Orange are ranked first in the NCAA with a record of 21-0.  It’s no wonder why ‘Cuse fans are excited about the Orange this year!  But will they be able to maintain this momentum with the March Madness tournament on the horizon?

Fans are still talking about Syracuse’s 2-point overtime win over Duke early this month, calling the game an “instant classic.”  But the two teams will tip off again February 22nd, and this time the stakes are even higher.

Syracuse fans will be cheering hard for the Orange, but Duke will be looking for retribution this time around.  A lot is riding on this game - no college sports fan should miss this matchup!

We’re big college sports fans here at Sport Systems Canada, and we are proud to supply the basketball goods your school needs for the big game!
