In line with the University of North Carolina’s thrilling win over Gonzaga earlier this week for the college basketball National Championship, one of our most recent projects featured Tar Heel team colours.
With the vision of creating a unique and safe environment for their children to play basketball in their home, the idea of transforming an open gym space within the home to a basketball court was spawned. In addition to the court, the customers wanted to ensure their children were safe while honing their basketball skills and set out in search of a customized solution for the newly designed space.
As big fans of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, part of the customization came in the form of a completely custom colour selection for the vinyl to be used on the padding. Matching the wall padding to their college team, we supplied the customer with a sample roll of our “Carolina Blue” or “Tar Heel Blue” vinyl for inspection.
After the colouring was approved, the design process was underway as our team utilized the measurements acquired by our partners at Hudson Valley Sports Court located in southern New York. Our team finalized the design and completed the manufacturing process in a timely manner before shipping the padding out to Hudson Valley Sports Court for installation.
Their team was on site every step of the way and installed the padding professionally and on-time as our partners always strive to do.
