Located in what is known as the Downriver collection of communities in the greater Metro Detroit areas, Lincoln Park, Michigan was the site one of our recent projects. Working closely with the team at C&M Associates, this project took place at the Lincoln Park Community Center – a hub for local activity.
As is commonly the case with facilities built two or three decades ago, they often have existing spectator seating that was designed and installed prior to the ADA access standards we use today. As we round the corner as a society in terms of overall accessibility and inclusivity, outdated facilities are often on the lookout for solutions that can be customized to work with current equipment and in many cases, with limited space.
With over 40 years of custom design work under our belts, it is these situations in which our team is truly able to shine. From our experienced sales team to our design and manufacturing teams, we strive to help our clientele understand how we can make just about any vision a reality.
Backed up by one of the best global networks of dealers we have the ability to install just about anything our team can dream up anywhere in the world. Given the complex nature of this job, it was sent directly to our custom fabrication department. Looking to build out a new wheelchair ramp and viewing platform, we worked closely across teams to ensure all of the specified information was taken into account and that the final product looked and function as expected.
Following detailed site measurements, our fabrication team got to work. The final product was
promptly and safely shipped to Michigan and met with the capable hands at C&M Associates for the final installation.
The job was a complete success from start to finish and we’d like to thank all involved. When it
comes to customized design and fabrication, it truly is a team effort to get these types of projects off the ground.
