Located in central Arizona, just south east of Phoenix, lies the charming town of Chandler and more importantly, the home of Basha High School. Opened in 2002, Basha High School was named after Eddie Basha, Jr., a dedicated community member who called Chandler home until his death in 2013.

Basha High was the third high school built by the Chandler Unified School District and currently has over 2,500 students enrolled. In addition to a high standard of academic accomplishment, the school is home to the Basha Bears, an athletics program that has consistently gained notoriety in the state of Arizona. Early on in the school’s history, their softball team was crowned state champions in 2008 and 2009, volleyball state champions in 2019 and boy’s basketball state champions in 2017. In addition to those accomplishments, their cheerleading team is a five-time winner of Arizona’s co-ed Cheer State Champions.

With an illustrious history of athletic accomplishment, the school named Marques Reischl as the school’s new Athletic Director to continue moving the program forward in 2018. Kicking off his tenure was the Building Basha initiative that would be used to improve the school’s athletic facilities. Since that time, the school has installed a new gym floor, new LED scoring table, a complete interior painting, and custom gym seating.

To continue with the Building Basha program, Reischl began his search for new seating for the retractable bleacher system in the gymnasium. Although the structure was in great operational condition, the seating needed a slight upgrade. Tasking the team at Arizona Service and Installations (ASI) with the project, they immediately went to our esteemed partners at Royal Stewart back in Canada. It was here where the seating to be used on the bleacher was secured and when the school expressed interest in having the team’s logo digitally printed to the seating, the project was then sent to our facility. Using our new Game Day Graphics department, our team quickly got to work on the design and planning process for these colourful and durable logos.

Working closely with all stakeholders involved in the project, our team took care to ensure the printing and shipping process was seamless. Following the printing and curing process, the seats left our headquarters and made their way to Arizona for the final installation handled by the capable hands at ASI.

Their team carefully installed each new seat of what now acts as a new source of school spirit for one of the states most respected athletic programs.
