Revel in the Unique Design of Our Side Folding Basketball Systems

With literally millions of gymnasiums, athletic complexes and other facilities here in North America, designing athletic equipment with a one-size-fits-all approach would be useless.  Ranging from facilities built 30 or more years ago to the high-tech and architecturally stunning facilities we are slowly becoming accustomed to today, no two gymnasiums are alike.

When it comes to basketball systems, in particular, much of the configuration and installation methods are heavily dependent on the space allotted, ceiling height and other architectural nuances.  With that in mind, a lot of facilities today opt for either a wall-mounted basketball system, a ceiling-suspended system, or both.

While wall-mounted units are definitely becoming more versatile in their design and configuration, our ceiling-suspended models are engineered to fit a variety of spaces and limitations and are highly customizable depending on certain circumstances.

The configurations of ceiling-suspended units range from strictly stationary basketball systems to systems that feature built-in mechanisms that allow them to easily be moved up and out of the way either forward or backward.

Adding another level of versatility to certain facilities are our single post side folding, side braced basketball systems.    For areas not equipped with sufficient space either behind or in front of the backboard for bracing or clearance, these units answer the call in a big way.  These systems are built on a fully welded frame and equipped with engineered hangers designed for both strength and safety in critical attachment points.

The basketball goal can be directly mounted to distribute all the stress and load on the goal to the vertical support mast.  This mast is stabilized by rectangular tube side sway braces welded to the support channel and the mast.  The sways are precision cut to match perfectly with the vertical mast and horizontal top channel.

If your facility’s design is proving to be a challenge when it comes to installing overhead basketball systems, be sure to give this product a thorough evaluation, or be sure to contact a member of our sales team who can help you through the selection process.
