When many of us think of bleachers, we instantly envision large stadiums and grandstands filled with happy spectators. While this is true of many of the bleachers we design and construct, the truth is, we also create a number of smaller, or low-rise options.
With every organization, facility, and team coming to the table with their own unique needs and circumstances, it’s not hard to imagine that there really is no one-size-fits-all approach to bleacher seating. Generally speaking, many customers come to us looking to solve seating problems for anywhere from 20 to 100 spectators and this is where our low-rise options truly shine.
As a general rule of thumb, we typically refer to any bleachers five rows in height and below in size as low-rise options for seating. These small bleachers can measure up to 21 feet in length, allowing for versatile seating options depending on your specific needs. As such, these bleachers come with a number of other benefits, perfectly suited to a number of situations.
Guardrails
While guardrails are a safety feature, many building codes (reference your local code before ordering) do not require these smaller-sized bleachers to be equipped with these rails. This comes with significant cost savings for our customers all the while allowing for proper egress points to keep your spectators safe during use.
Versatility
For the most part, our bleachers are found outdoors along sidelines and in baseball dugouts. Given the convenient size of these seating structures, they also allow for more placement options. With many indoor spaces, availability of usable space can be an issue and our low-rise bleachers can be designed to fit nearly any area.
Likewise, outdoors, these bleachers are perfect for unique spaces or activities and can be equipped with tow kits to make them completely portable and easy to move when the need arises.
