As one of Canada’s elite soccer development centres, the Farias Soccer Academy (FSA) turned to Sport Systems when the need arose for custom wall padding to cover the perimeter of the play area inside their facility.
With the focus on player development, the FSA recently introduced their new permanent facility, located in Bedford, Nova Scotia on Canada’s East Coast. The FSA management team is comprised of a father and son team with deep roots in the beautiful game. José is the patriarch of the academy, having started his career as a referee at the tender age of 16 and is an inspiring role model to the academy’s founder and principal coach, his son Eduardo.
Together they have forged training programs designed to take young Canadian soccer players to the next level. Their programs offer their players the opportunity to develop proper in-game mechanics paired with the importance of teamwork and dedication on and off the field.
As such, we were thrilled to take part in the development of such an organization and quickly designed and manufactured the padding needed to safely cover the perimeter of the playing area. With help from our partners at Timbertec in Nova Scotia, the exact needs of the facility were quickly communicated and provided our team with the proper measurements.
Upon completion of the design and manufacturing process, the finished wall padding was sent down to our colleagues at Timbertec, who then seamlessly installed the wall padding with the aid of our professional shop drawings and accompanying installation instructions.
