From traditional public school boards to private educational institutions, we proudly serve a broad range of institutions across both Canada and the United States. Whether it is working in tandem with a number of schools across an entire school board, providing our services to small, specialized schools, or working with large-scale post secondary facilities, our experience in this sector knows no bounds.
Working in the private sector, one of our more recent projects brought us to the new location of Toronto’s Sathya Sai School. Nestled into their new home in Scarborough, Sathya Sai offers students Ministry of Ontario curriculum that is enhanced with values-based education that currently serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
We were connected with the school in the fall, not long after they officially moved into their new location. Despite having numerous possible areas within the facility that they were interested in upgrading, the school’s stakeholders decided it would be best to begin in the large gymnasium. As with many school gymnasiums, the decision had to be made as to which portions of the walls would possibly need to be padded, if any.
The school ultimately decided that in addition to making the space as safe as possible for the participants, they wanted the gym to have a finished look with a complete wall padding solution. It was decided that all of the walls were to be adorned in safety padding. They also had our design team create a solution for the stage area as well.
Communicating directly with our design team, accurate measurements of the space and stage were acquired and detailed technical drawings were created for the client. After the brief approval process, the padding was delivered in an efficient manner and successfully installed in the school’s gymnasium.
What remains now is a completely safe athletic space for students of all ages to utilize.
