Serving as a state-of-the-art fitness facility located in the heart of Mississauga, Lifetime Fitness was established in 2012, and was the organization's first location in Canada. Since then, the company has aggressively grown in both Canada and the United States and we’ve been fortunate not only to help launch the Mississauga location, but also their Ajax and Vaughn locations as well.

During the launch phase at the Mississauga location, we had helped them with a large gym divider curtain that was still in place, but had been taking a beating as of late. Knowing exactly who to call for their gym dividing needs, their team once again picked up the phone and reached out to us in search of a possible replacement.

The area that the curtain was being used to divide had seen a significant increase in popularity since one of the courts was transformed into a pickle ball court. After some initial conversations with the staff at the location, they informed us that the pickle ball court is constantly in use every single day of the week. Located on the other side of the busy pickle ball court was another (and almost equally busy) basketball court. 

High utilization rates, while welcome, increase wear and tear on equipment, and this curtain was no exception.

Once we had learned about the concerns regarding the existing curtain, our team made the trip to Mississauga to assess the condition of the existing curtain. The facility was keen to budget for the replacement of the existing curtain in their 2025 budget and wanted our input on the overall design and condition of the curtain before making the decision.

Promptly following our comprehensive site visit, our team provided a quote, which was swiftly approved by their finance team. With a long-standing relationship spanning multiple locations in the Greater Toronto area, it was plain to see that Lifetime Fitness regarded our opinion highly and trusted our team to deliver once again.

In early 2025, our team was back on site, removing the old vinyl and mesh and replacing them with a brand-new black top-roll gym divider curtain for the role of dividing this busy space. This popular curtain model is a leading choice of large-scale facilities like this one given its ability to be stored neatly overhead when not in use.

The model 4040 XL top roll curtain’s name says it all. This was a massive curtain that measured 84 feet wide and 22 feet high. The large new curtain was successfully installed with minimal service interruption to the busy space and is now in full operation.
