When our sales team gets a call to replace a gym divider curtain located nearly 4,500 kilometres away, we don’t hesitate, we instantly collaborate. Thanks to our strong network of local Dealers across the country, we’re able to deliver seamless projects from coast to coast and this project was no exception.
Located in the beautiful Fraser Valley, the Seabird Island Band is a proud Indigenous community with a strong focus on education, wellness, and youth development. The Seabird Island Community School serves as a hub for learning and recreation, not just for students, but for the entire community. Like all educational facilities, the school’s gymnasium is an essential gathering space for athletics, cultural events, and community programming so ensuring that it is operating efficiently is always top of mind for operators.
Given that the school’s current gym divider curtain was starting to show a bit of wear and tear, key stakeholders began the process of sourcing a replacement. Thankfully for our team, we were atop the list of trusted suppliers here in Canada and when our phone rang, we were more than able to answer the call.
Given the distance, we knew this project would require collaboration with our trusted local partner in British Columbia, StageDoor Technical. The StageDoor Tech team brings years of experience installing stage and acoustic curtains throughout BC, and their expertise makes them a perfect fit to handle our gym divider curtains.

After an initial conversation with our sales team, StageDoor Tech performed a site visit to assess the space and take precise measurements of the gym. Their detailed measurements were sent back to our design team, enabling us to create a custom Centre Drive Gym Divider Curtain tailored specifically for Seabird Island’s facility.
With the design finalized and manufacturing complete, the new curtain was shipped and installed earlier this summer. The finished installation, which was completed on-time and on-budget, looks fantastic and adds new functionality to an important community space.
We’re proud to have played a part in supporting the Seabird Island community and to work alongside such capable partners as StageDoor Technical.
Projects like this remind us that no matter the distance, great teamwork and strong partnerships make it possible to bring quality products and dependable service to communities across Canada.
