Located a mere 60 miles from the Mexican border, one of our recent projects led us back to beautiful Tucson, Arizona. The historical area is home to several landmarks, including the prestigious University of Arizona.
Working closely with our partners at AZ installations, our team was brought in to spec and build
a new set of bleachers for a local school.
While not a massive district, the Sunnyside Unified School District covers much of Pima County
and includes one early-childhood school, one intermediate school, 12 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three high schools. Serving over 17,000 students, the district has been providing stellar education in the region since its inception in 1921.
Having a long-standing relationship with the school district, AZ Installation was immediately invited to the project and then turned to us to help in getting it just right.
The school was looking to have a new bank of bleachers designed for the sidelines of their busy
sports field. Wanting enough room for staff, team members and a small crowd, the school ultimately selected our five-row aluminum bleachers. Given that this seating structure was to be used by a mix of students, athletes, and outside spectators, safety was a top priority.
In working closely with key stakeholders and with our partners at AZ Installation, the district
selected our five-row bleachers complete with centre handrails and complete chain-link guardrail systems. As ordered, our pre-designed Gold Series Bleachers are among our top sellers to schools and community centres across North America. Upon approval of all drawings and specs, the bleachers were efficiently manufactured and shipped directly to Tucson where they were met for final installation by AZ.
The project was completed efficiently, becoming yet another example of the strength of our unified dealer network, working around the world to Build A Better Game.
