We don’t often get to the great City of Chicago but love whenever we get the chance to be a part of anything going on in the Windy City. While there are a number of travel restrictions in place at the moment, we are fortunate enough to have a strong dealer presence in the state of Illinois, allowing us to partner on an exciting project at a local high school.
As one of our newest American partners, the amazing team at Slam Dunk Hoops joined us only a month or two ago. Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Amanda and Tony have over 10-years’ worth of experience in the athletic equipment space, specializing mainly in basketball hoop sales, installation and service. With a keen eye on growing their organization that services both Wisconsin and Illinois, Slam Dunk was quick on the draw to seize a new opportunity for a telescopic bleacher install in the Chicago area.
As an existing client, key stakeholders at St. Christina Catholic School reached out to Slam Dunk Hoops as they were in the midst of some renovations in the school’s gymnasium. With a tight space allotted for gymnasium seating, and an even tighter timeline, our partnership was immediately put to the test.
The first step was to gather the precise measurements required for our technology team to put together the perfect design for the space allotted and for the seating requirements. It was quickly determined that once again, our Kodiak 2400 series telescopic bleachers would fit the bill for this project.
Following the approval process, the seating structures were sent to fabrication and quickly shipped down to the Chicago school for installation.
Using their years’ worth of experience, and leaning on the expertise of our organization, the team at Slam Dunk performed an absolutely seamless installation. Today, the school’s new gymnasium is complimented by the new seating structures along the court, coloured in the school’s proudly displayed red colouring.
As always, we’d like to thank both the key stakeholders at St. Christina’s and our new partners at Slam Dunk Hoops. Without them, this project would have never been as successful as it was – we are looking forward to the next project and beyond.
