To maintain its leadership position in this market and to grow its global presence, SSCI seeks an Installation Supervisor based out of its Almonte, ON plant who exhibits the drive to lead & succeed. This position is full-time and is an immediate requirement for the company. If you have a passion for sports and building our country’s infrastructure, then this position is for you. Our installations take us coast to coast from the Okanagan Valley to Newfoundland and recently to other parts of the world including but not limited to Barbados, the Virgin Islands and the U.S.
We are proud to offer our installation teams only the highest quality tools & equipment to get the job done. A committed design, coordination and logistics team support our field crews daily to ensure successful execution of our projects. Our supervisors are provided with a personal smartphone (package paid for by the company), computer tablet, IT support, access to clean, late model vehicles and a clothing allowance.
Qualifications & Skills:
The prospective candidate must possess:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership position within a construction or manufacturing setting
- A solid track record of leading a team of skilled craftspeople. An eye for detail, an appreciation for quality, a commitment to safety and solid customer-facing skills.
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills. The ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects from concept to completion on time and on budget
- A college degree and exposure to ERP/ MRP systems is considered an asset.
- Experience using basic computer applications such as MS Word, Outlook Email etc. considered an asset. If the right candidate does not possess these skills, then training will be provided
-Company paid travel is required in our busy season (1-2 weeks per month). All travel expenses are paid by the company. A valid driver’s license is required.
