We proudly spent the better part of this week spending time on Canada’s beautiful east coast for an event that many in our industry look forward to, the New Brunswick Association of School Business Officials’ (NBASBO) Annual General Meeting . Acting as a branch of the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), the New Brunswick affiliate is dedicated to the development of each member by creating professional growth and communication within this fast-paced industry.

The chief role of the ASBO is to ensure that school business professionals, those traditionally acting behind the scenes, are equipped with the necessary resources and are using best practices in school business management. What this does is effectively allows their membership to better fulfill their duties while delivering superior educations for students as well as better fiscal health for schools and their communities.

This year’s AGM was held in beautiful Moncton, and attracted educational professionals from across the province. Located in the Delta Beausejour, the event capsulated two days of meet and greets, speeches, seminars and so much more.

We were happy to have been a part of it and look forward to seeing all of those involved again next year.
