Together with the aid of a large network of sports equipment dealers, Performance Sport Systems has developed an unmatched maintenance and service program for athletic facilities across North America. By being involved in this program, Sport Systems’ technicians and installers have gone through rigorous training and are experts in the evaluation of your equipment and facility.

The fact of the matter is, fasteners, nuts and bolts all are susceptible to becoming loose over time, and just as you need to periodically tighten screws in furniture around your home, the same needs to be done in your athletic facility. With the sheer size of equipment found in gymnasiums, as well as the amount of ceiling-suspended equipment, this process is not only important for the equipment and infrastructure, but most importantly for the safety of the patrons and participants of your facility.

Inspections done under the umbrella of the Orange Zone Inspection Program can be performed on a one-time basis, but we recommend an annual contract, which can be negotiated with us at any point.

Typically speaking, these inspections are broken into two parts; the first being a visual inspection to quickly identify any potential problems and the second being a much more comprehensive inspection which includes:

• The tightening of all fasteners
• The inspection of all welds
• The lubrication of all moving parts
• Checking proper alignment of equipment
• Inspection of all cables, pulleys and safety straps
• Inspection of all hoists and drive systems 

Our service team is extremely experienced when it comes to inspecting gymnasium equipment and conducting the necessary service work. After each inspection, we provide you with a detailed report of our findings—complete with service work recommendations—to ensure the facility is up to our Orange Zone standard.

We also conduct annual maintenance on  gym divider curtains, telescopic bleachers, wall padding, and ceiling-suspended and  wall-mounted basketball backstops. We also carefully inspect and carry out maintenance on most outdoor sports equipment products as well.
