Nestled southwest of the city of Barrie, Essa Township provides the perfect opportunity to residents looking for a rural lifestyle without sacrificing access to amenities. Located a mere 100 kilometers from Toronto, it also offers a commutable community to those working in Toronto and the surrounding areas.

It was earlier this year when we were approached by key stakeholders from the township who were looking to make some improvements to a local baseball diamond. With over 25 sports fields, pads and facilities across the region, athletics and physical activity is something that residents in this family-oriented community value most.

With picnic tables, public restrooms and a baseball diamond on site at Lion’s Park, additional seating was required to support the local little league and other recreational baseball teams in the area. Moving up from what was previously on site, the township selected our 5-row Gold Series bleachers that come equipped with chain-link guardrail systems for added safety - a favourite of many of our municipal customers.

The order was placed and the bleachers were shipped directly to Lion’s Park and were met by our installation team. We then safely and effectively constructed the new seating and placed them as directed, surrounding the infield of the ball diamond.

Just in time for summer ball, the new seating is off to a great start serving parents and children alike in this active yet charming small township.
