Over the past year or so we have been working closely with Kazou Architectural Products, located in Kuwait. This unique opportunity has not only allowed us to get involved in a project in this part of the world, it has also given us a front-row seat to the design and build the American United School in Kuwait.

This educational facility opened its doors back in 2013 solely for use as an elementary school, but has since blossomed into a larger institution, now serving grades 6-8 and is aiming to have a fully operational high school by the end of 2015.

The American United School serves a number of multinational families with the goal of watching each and every student reach their full academic potential. This facility is proud of its careful curriculum mapping, co-teaching and departmental approaches and infusion of experiential elements it believes will prepare their student body for success in the future.

Last summer and fall we were commissioned to supply the educational facility with telescopic bleacher seating and wall padding for their gymnasium and they have returned to us to continue the expansion and development of this wonderful educational organization.

Together with our design team, the two sides collaborated with detailed technical drawings to design another custom wall padding solution to be used in one of the gymnasiums in this expansive facility. This set of pads was measured and cut to fit the unique dimensions of their gymnasium precisely, including around door frames, electrical outlets and windows. The gymnasium also featured a number of structural columns that required padding for the safety of participants, which was also carefully designed by our experienced technology team.

As with any shipment heading overseas, this project was well planned and properly packaged not only for a prompt delivery but also for a safe one. Whether we are shipping products across North America or around the world, care and attention to detail from planning and development to shipping and customer reception is always priority number one.
