In that project, our team designed a complete [padding solution](https://www.sportsystemscanada.com/collections/custom-wall-padding) for a small support room in the facility that had to accommodate an existing playhouse and structure previously installed in the room. With that project in the rear view, our team once again got to work for ANDRUS, this time on a much larger [sensory room](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/calming-room-sensory-room-padding).  These rooms are used to create an environment completely removed from outside distractions and come complete with audio and visual aids, promoting extreme relaxation. ![wall-padding-with-custom-cut-outs-ANDRUS-new-york](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_20161117_080540867.jpg?width=640&name=IMG_20161117_080540867.jpg "wall-padding-with-custom-cut-outs-ANDRUS-new-york") As with most sensory rooms, they often involve a great deal of padding, allowing for extreme comfort, security and additional sensory stimulation.  This room was no different as we were called upon to [design](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/delivering-detailed-drawings-for-your-padded-room-design) and manufacture complete padding to cover the walls of the room with custom cut-outs.  In addition to the walls, the flooring was completely padded and the room was finished off with custom-designed door padding for the entrances to the room. ![door-padding-ANDRUS-new-york](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_20161117_080628369.jpg?width=320&name=IMG_20161117_080628369.jpg "door-padding-ANDRUS-new-york") Our partners at [Tri-State](https://www.tristatefolding.com/) once again did a phenomenally impressive job of working closely with key stakeholders at ANDRUS and with the handling and installation of this large-scale padding project.   [![custom-padding-ebook-download](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/319534/bfd3302d-38d0-45d0-834e-f69748a3e4f5.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/319534/bfd3302d-38d0-45d0-834e-f69748a3e4f5)   Topics: [Custom Padding](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/topic/custom-padding), [Wall Padding](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/topic/wall-padding), [Padded Rooms](https://blog.sportsystemscanada.com/blog/topic/padded-rooms) [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/linkedin-24x24.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Complete%20Padding%20for%20a%20Sensory%20Room%20at%20the%20Julia%20Dyckman%20ANDRUS%20Center%20in%20Yonkers) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fblog.sportsystemscanada.com%2Fblog%2Fcomplete-padding-for-a-sensory-room-at-the-julia-dyckman-andrus-center-in-yonkers%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Search for Specific Products or Projects This is a search field with an auto-suggest feature attached. - There are no suggestions because the search field is empty.
