We’ve spent decades serving municipal governments, educational facilities and parks and recreation departments with the very best in indoor athletic equipment and infrastructure. While we complete a lot of work inside gymnasiums and out on the turf, we also help these very same institutions and organizations with other products outside the immediate realm of sports and athletics.

From recycled, eco-friendly plastic benches to dynamically designed bicycle racks, our aim has been to fully service our clientele any way we possibly can. One such department that has seen great growth for us over the past decade or so is the bicycle rack. With such a dramatic increase in cycling, not only as a hobby but as a way of life, many of our customers are searching for the right solution to store them while not in use.

While some certainly opt for the ultra-secure bike lockers, bike racks are still the most popular bicycle storage solution out there. That said, the construction and design of these racks has come a long way. Today, these racks are an aesthetically pleasing addition to any outdoor space and often lend themselves to blending in quite nicely with their surroundings.

One of our newest products does just that – and a little more. Our lightning bolt bike rack is a marvel of design – a creation perfected by our partners at SCH.

    A Secure Option

Let’s face it, when it comes to cyclist concerns, security is very high on the list. With bicycle theft still very high in many urban areas, cyclists want to ensure the structure they are securing their two-wheel transportation to is secure as possible.

The lightning bolt series answers the call, allowing for three contact points and allows cyclists to lock both the front and frame to the rack using the patented “U” lock design.

    Design Elements

While designed to withstand the elements with tough powder coating, these racks quickly become attractive street furniture when loaded with bicycles. The low profile design allows the rack itself to become virtually invisible as the three-point support system holds the bicycles in an upright position while in place.

The locking posts themselves were also designed with proper spacing eliminating the pain-point of handlebar interference experienced with many other bike racks on the market.

These racks can also be configured in a diagonal design, lending themselves to additional customization and flair when installed.
