Unique product offerings attract unique projects and at one of our most recent opportunities in beautiful Boise, Idaho, a state-of-the-art facility found a home for one of our most specialized products. It was a couple of years ago when a sizable architectural firm in the United States reached out to us with questions regarding our high-humidity telescopic bleacher systems.

Designed specifically for high-humidity areas such as pool decks, our product offering is very unique in its design. Constructed using a galvanized steel understructure paired with stainless-steel hardware, we are proud to be one of the very few supplying this highly specialized product in North America.

The project for which the bleachers were intended to be used was in a new state-of-the-art facility in Boise that was still in the planning stages when the global pandemic first hit the US. Due to the delays caused by the pandemic, much of the planning and construction was paused for an extended period of time. We were pleased to hear that in early 2023, the facility was again under construction and was at the stage where new bleachers could be finalized and installed on the new pool deck of the newly constructed facility.

The 50,000 square-foot facility was designed with both an eight-lane competition pool and a six-lane practice pool. Acknowledging  the National Recreation and Park Association’s recommended levels of service standards for parks and recreation communities of one aquatic facility per 35,000 residents, the new facility now gives Boise residents a new, top-tier place to swim after the closure of the pool at Boise State.

We were again united with our dealers at Hardware Sales and Service (HSS) to pick up where our original discussions left off. Looking to flank the competition pool with the best seating solution possible, our high-humidity bleachers that were discussed previously, were readily selected. 

The bleachers were efficiently manufactured and shipped directly to Boise and were met by the trained installation technicians at HSS where they were installed without delay. In addition to the new facility giving Boise residents an aquatic facility to call their own, the new bleachers also give them a safe place to cheer on local athletes as they compete in the new competition pool.
