Located in Lake County, Indiana and as an extension of the greater Chicago metropolitan area, we were brought into an exciting project by Lake Ridge Schools. Looking for some improved seating for the Lake Ridge New Tech School, key stakeholders from the school district reached out to our team looking for a few banks of our telescopic bleacher seating units for their gymnasium.
Having an established dealer in the region, we worked with the school district to bring in our partners at Recreation Equipment Company (REC), who we would utilize to help us with the final installation. But before we got to that point, we needed a look inside the gymnasium to gather the required measurements and seating requirements and the team at REC was quick to provide their valuable input.
With that information in hand, we worked with stakeholders and ultimately decided on two new banks of telescopic bleachers to satisfy their unique needs. In addition to being completely motorized, each bank would be 8-rows in height and would measure approximately 90 feet in length. Looking to seat about 800 spectators, this new configuration would exceed their prospective requirements, offering seating for 820 in the gymnasium.
In the project that went as smooth as one could possibly imagine, the bleachers were shipped out earlier this fall where they landed with the trusted team at REC. From there, their team took over and efficiently had the new bleachers installed right on schedule.
The end result is a pair of bleacher seating systems designed to seat the masses and match their school colours at the same time. A job well done by all involved!
