One of our most popular product lines is that of our gym divider curtains. Allowing facilities to quickly and easily divide large spaces such as gymnasiums gives these facilities another level of versatility and can increase their programming capacity.
While some models are hand-drawn, the majority of installations are completely motorized which come with high safety ratings, low operating costs and virtually no maintenance when serviced on an annual basis.
Perhaps one of the most aesthetically-pleasing dividers on the market is our top roll gym divider curtain (model 4040). For facilities with height clearance issues, this low-profile design operates seamlessly without the use of belts, cables or exposed wires. This curtain is supported securely from the roof structure by either attaching the product to the underside of the roof truss or by utilizing 3 1/2” O.D. horizontal and 2 3/8” O.D. vertical structural tubing.
Depending entirely on the overall weight of the system, the curtain is either powered by one or two extremely quiet, yet powerful tubular motors. For curtains weighing up to 325 lbs., including batten weight, they are hoisted using one internal tubular 120 volt, 60 hertz, single-phase motor. Curtains weighing over 325 lbs. get double the power and are handsomely equipped with a pair of the motors referenced above. These motors are capable of a maximum torque of 700 inch-pounds with a speed of 14 rpm and are equipped with up-and-down limit switches and an electromagnetic disc brake for a smooth and accurate stop.
When it comes to material construction of the curtain, we offer two grades of heavy-duty vinyl for the lower portion of the curtain. Given the proximity to the ground and the likelihood of scuffing, collisions and markings, the lower portion is available in either a 19 oz. or 22 oz. vinyl for the ultimate in protection.
The remainder of the curtain is made up of a 9 oz. vinyl-coated mesh, giving it a clean look and allowing teachers and staff members to monitor activities on either side of the curtain, should the need arise.

19 oz. vinyl: Marine Blue, Royal Blue, Yellow, Kelly Green, Orange, Navy Blue, Forest Green, Purple, Red, Burgundy, White, Beige, Black, or Grey.
22 oz. vinyl: Royal Blue, Red, or Grey.
9 oz. mesh: White, Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, Black, or Grey.
