Sport Systems has a long and successful history of providing educational institutions with excellent equipment and services throughout Canada and the United States. More specifically, Sport Systems has an impressive portfolio of jobs completed for Catholic schools. Adding to the team’s experience, a project was recently completed for Marian High School, an all-girls Catholic school located in Omaha, Nebraska.

In almost all realms of life, it is always better to plan ahead to ensure you can accommodate the potential outcome and support your expectations. Most would agree that it is better to be overprepared than underprepared, more important to overestimate your needs rather than to underestimate them. Taking active measures to ensure that they are always able to accommodate their guests, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School invited Sport Systems to return to their school and install additions to their outdoor bleachers.

The value of speaking more than one language cannot be understated. Not only is it believed to aid older adults in preventing memory loss (Skibba), it opens the door to many more opportunities in life — especially in employment. With Ottawa’s large bilingual population, the need for businesses such as Sport Systems to cater to both languages is essential. As such, the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) has committed itself to providing, “the means to acquire the skills and knowledge [children] need to grow and succeed in a constantly changing world” (“Ottawa”).

Kryptonite is to Superman as rust is to metal. The strength and integrity of metal can be compromised if not regularly maintained. Many have learned this lesson the hard way, with their kitchen knives or vehicles, once the oxidation process has accelerated beyond repair. Addressing the frustrations of rusted equipment, Waukesha South High School reached out to the Carroll Seating Company to replace the corroded indoor bleachers located in their pool room.

Originally manufacturing and selling basketball systems exclusively, Sport Systems has since branched out with additional products, including our top-of-the-line bleachers. Throughout the years, many of our bleacher systems have been produced for indoor basketball courts, combining our company’s initial focus with our expanding product line. The versatility of our bleachers has allowed for further growth, most recently demonstrated with a request to participate in a project at an outdoor soccer field in North Carolina.

From the small town of Springfield to the city of Omaha, Sport Systems is privileged to work throughout the great state of Nebraska. While this part of the United States is often overlooked, the simplicity and comfort found in the Midwest makes Nebraska an appealing destination. More specifically, the city of Lincoln, including Lincoln Public Schools, provides the ideal environment for raising a family. As with many projects in this part of the country, we were proud to, once again, partner with the team at Crouch Recreation. Having worked together on a number of other projects in the great state of Nebraska, this is yet another example of the power and skill behind our dealer network.

Since the beginning of agricultural communities, farming has served as the foundation of every society. With farmers meeting the practical needs of each community, the remaining members are able to put forth their efforts in advancing realms such as medicine, technology, politics, and education. However, the present appeal of farming has surpassed its practicality; this industry continues to gain attraction due to the lifestyle that surrounds it. In towns such as Napan, New Brunswick, a sense of pride lends itself to those working within the agricultural industry.

An "island community” often brings to mind images of warm and exotic places. However, these communities often exist a lot closer to home than we realize. Situated off the coast of Maine, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, Grand Manan Island shares similar beginnings with most islands that were settled by Europeans in the 18th century.

Intentional planning plays an important role in our everyday lives. While spontaneity can be exciting, planning ahead helps us be ready for a myriad of situations and can lead to a more sustainable way of living. From meal preparation to time management, thinking ahead helps maintain healthy and efficient lives. Proper planning can also eliminate the unintentional exclusion of others. Anticipating the needs and potential limitations of visitors, York Stadium Park has taken action in creating a more inclusive outdoor environment for their spectators.

Prevalent throughout Canada and the United States, Catholic schools have come to be associated with order and high standards of learning. With fixed dress codes, clearly established ethics, and strong religious traditions, the policies of these schools often enable them to become leading
examples within the field of education. These institutions, such as St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School, have been providing quality education for decades.
