Operating 79 elementary schools and 20 secondary schools, the District School Board of Niagara reached out to our team to explore options for upgrading the gymnasium at one of their schools. With a focus on student success, the board takes both academics and athletics very seriously and as such, is frequently looking for new and innovative ways to improve their school’s offerings.

Jean Sauvé French Immersion Public School was in the process of upgrading some components of their gymnasium and was in the market for a new seating option. Looking for a retractable bleacher system that could easily be rolled out for sporting events or retracted when not in use was the most logical option.

Over the course of our company’s history here in the Greater Ottawa Area, we’ve had the pleasure of working with the Ottawa Boys & Girls Clubs on various projects. While we carry a lot of pride in every project we undertake, working for organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club truly makes us feel as though we are making a difference here in our community.

With a brand new gymnasium recently completed at the Club’s Heatherington Rd. location, the organization reached out to our team to design a new seating system for the gymnasium. With hopes of raucous support from their peers, the plan was to install bleacher seating to support the budding athletes from around the Ottawa area for many years to come.

In the spring of 2022, the Town of Havelock was looking  for  the right company to assist them with keeping balls in play. This small eastern-Ontario town is filled with character and up until 2019 was the home of the world famous Havelock Country Jamboree which saw thousands of country music fans descend on the town for the annual festival.

While the pandemic slowed things down musically for the town, life has gone on and as local ball players continue to fill local parks and diamonds, and so the town reached out to us to design, supply and install a custom Netting Barrier for the town's ball field.

In what is being touted as the “Field of Dreams”, this $2.5 million project was put into motion at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. As we were forced to find open-air activities to participate in, the lack of quality locations and facilities quickly became apparent.

In search of more quality soccer pitches in the Ottawa area, Ron Palaczka, a coach and active member of the soccer community, reached out to the Maple Leaf Almrausch German Club. This non-profit club was founded in 1964 and is strictly managed by its members, operating as the only German Clubhouse in the National Capital Region.

The conversation between Palaczka and the club would eventually lead to the Field of Dreams project, bringing the second-largest turf field to the National Capital Region. The project includes  a state-of-the-art turf installation with premium lighting fixtures to keep the new FIFA-sized pitch lit up for evening play.

Heading back to the region  of the 1,000 Islands, about 90km (56mi) from our company headquarters, is a small riverfront city our crews always look forward to working in. Close enough for a day trip, but seemingly far enough away from home to enjoy the charm of it all once you arrive.

Working again with the City of Brockville, our team was brought in to assess the seating situation in one of the local parks. Brackenreid Baseball Park is often denoted as one of the best little league fields in southern Ontario, and with good reason.

Officially nicknamed the “Garden City’ for its over 1,000 acres of parks, gardens and recreational trails, St. Catharines is the pride of the Niagara region, outside of the falls, of course.

Located just 19km (12mi) from the Canada-US border, the city’s industry is dominated by manufacturing and trade, where organizations such as General Motors headquartered their Canadian operations until just a few years ago.

Located at the confluence of the Thames River is the City of London, Ontario. Founded in 1826, the once small village has blossomed into the largest municipality in southwestern Ontario and is one of the larger metropolitan areas in Canada.

It’s a city that we have a rich history with as a company as well. Having recently worked at the University of Western Ontario, heading to this picturesque city is something our team always looks forward to. This trip was no different, this time having been commissioned by a local high school to replace outdated indoor bleachers.
