I know we discussed sports netting in our last post, and hopefully you went away with a better understanding of how essential those sports nets are to a well-stocked athletic facility. We talked about lacrosse and hockey and touched on the potential danger to players and fans. There are, however, sports with far less contact that can benefit from quality nets.

No, not fishing. That actually has a lot of contact - especially if you're the fish.
I'm talking about golf! Let's face it; most of us aren't hitting the ball as straight or long as those guys on the Tour. If you want to make par you have to spend long hours at the range or on the course really working at your game.

Golf nets line driving ranges and golf courses, protecting people and property from the asteroid-like speed of a well-hit golf ball. Our general nylon golf barrier can be cut to whatever size application your course or facility may call for (yes, any size). Our netting is dyed black and treated with U.V. coating to protect it from the long summer sun. Black netting maintains a clean look, avoiding the kind of discoloration common in white nylon nets left exposed to the elements. Be sure you check out our Golf Netting Spec Sheet to learn more about Sport Systems golf netting solutions.

But not everyone has the time to make it to the range or visit their favorite course often enough to maintain their swing. SSCI has you covered (pun intended) with practice nets for the home yard or indoor space. Made with both heavy-duty archery netting and dense nylon, our 10' X 10' X 10' practice net sports the same dye and protective coating as our larger golf nets. Our kits come with everything you need to set up a practice cage, including poles, corner kits, baffle net, and, of course, golf nets. If you aren't familiar with what we're talking about just imagine a batting cage designed for a golfer. Pretty useful, eh? Especially for those limited on space.

If you're still unsure as to what we're talking about, check out the "Golf Cages" part of our website under the Golf Netting tab.

So, if you're looking to give Tiger a run at the Masters this year then you'll need to get that long ball under control. With any luck, you'll be landing it near the nets in the back of the range, and not slicing it into those nets along the side. Still, golf nets from Sport Systems Canada are a net-cessity for any range or course looking to keep balls where they belong. That is, out of the adjoining roads, people's houses, the pro shop, parking lot... the list goes on!

*Note: Golf nets are also guaranteed to catch any golf club thrown in frustration.
