If you’ve been following us for any period of time, you’ll know that we take every opportunity to brag about the products and services we provide. Having been in the sports equipment industry for over 40 years, we’ve been through a lot and that has helped us provide the best service and the best products to the marketplace for decades.

What we don’t often talk about is the visionary people behind the scenes. Those who have been a part of the company since its inception and who have, with the help of many others, shaped the trajectory of our company over the years.

The truth is, we never actually left. Instead, we pivoted, shifted and adjusted. We kept our employees safe. We provided them with the external resources required to do their jobs and they did just that.

While the hallways of our office were empty and our manufacturing facility quiet, we were active in our homes. Creating make-shift home offices, we took to our kitchen or dining room tables to take phone calls and answer emails from customers, partners and team members.

Much the same as everything else we have been through in our 40-years in the athletic infrastructure and equipment industry, we made it work.

RELEASE - Ontario is partnering with Sport Systems Canada to help expand its facilities, creating 10 new jobs and retaining 21 positions in Almonte.

John Fraser, MPP for Ottawa South, made the announcement today at Sport Systems Canada on behalf of Jeff Leal, Minister Responsible for Small Business.

Sport Systems Canada manufactures and assembles bleachers and sports equipment for customers across Canada and the international market. The company has been providing state-of-the art equipment and expertise to customers such as schools, universities and municipalities for more than three decades.

With support from the Eastern Ontario Development Fund, the company is expanding its facility and purchasing new production equipment. This will allow Sport Systems Canada to enhance its productivity, increase its product range and increase its growing export business.
